Yanaihara Women's Clinic is a private obstetrics and gynecology clinic in Kamakura-city, Kanagawa-pref., Japan. We focus on infertility treatment within the field of obstetrics and gynecology. We deal with treatment ranging from artificial insemination (IUI) to In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and Intra-Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI). We do not handle general gynecological cases or cases of childbirth, but we accept obstetrics patients until 12 weeks.Our clinic has a male infertility outpatient clinic and can handle asthenospermia, oligospermia, and azoospermia. We can support patients who require Testicular sperm extraction (TESE).You can choose established the technology of preimplantation generic testing (PGT), which examines the chromosomes of embryo, and it has helped many patients.We can also perform tests and treatments for recurrent miscarriages/recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) and implantation failure (RIF) that does not lead to pregnancy even if a good embryo is transferred.Egg freezing and sperm freezing are possible, and there are options for those who want to have a family in the future.We answer to the needs of patients suffering from various types of infertility. We also perform endoscopic fallopian tube (FT) surgery that does not require a hospital stay. If it is determined that a patient requires surgery, we cooperate with the near hospital at which this surgery can be performed.

Pregnancy is established through various processes until the egg grows, fuses with the sperm, and attaches to the uterus. If you are aiming for a natural pregnancy, the following tests are performed. The timing of these tests is determined by the woman's menstrual cycle.

Intrauterine insemination (IUI)

Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is a procedure that treats infertility. It is a treatment method that is especially effective for couples with male infertility. IUI boosts the chances of pregnancy by placing specially prepared sperm directly in the uterus. The sperm are inserted around the time of ovulation. IUI helps you get pregnant by efficiently transporting sperm.

Preimplantation genetic testing (PGT)

Preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) is a screening test that can be
performed on embryos created via in vitro fertilization (IVF) to
genetically analyze the embryos prior to transfer. One of the most
common reasons that an embryo transfer does not result in a pregnancy is
due to abnormal embryo genetics. PGT can ensure that the embryo
selected for transfer has the correct number of chromosomes, thereby
reducing the chances for a failed IVF cycle and reducing the chance of
miscarriage.

Recurrent Pregnancy Loss (RPL)

The definition of recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) in the United States is two or more consecutive failed clinical pregnancies documented by ultrasound or histopathology, while, in the United Kingdom, the definition is as having three or more consecutive early pregnancy losses. Up to 50 percent of cases of recurrent pregnancy loss lack a clear etiology. The causes of RPL are diverse and require a lot of testing.
